One of our school's aims is to establish a strong partnership between pupils, staff, parents/guardians/carers, governors, advisory colleagues and others within the local community, to work together for the successful achievement of all our aims.
Whilst your child is at this school, we hope you will be as fully involved in his/her schooling as possible, to ensure that full use is made of the many opportunities that will be offered during your child's time here. We welcome your involvement in all aspects of school life: supporting your child's home learning activities, volunteering to help in school, helping at school events, co-ordinating fund-raising activities, running extra-curricular activities and/or attending social events.
Currently (November 2016), there are 50 families on roll, including single-parent families, those on low incomes and those who are unemployed. We provide information for all families via the noticeboard in the main entrance foyer, the school website, newsletters, texts, emails, workshops, meetings, home-school booklets and information leaflets.
If you have any questions to ask about any aspects of school, please do not hesitate to contact us. We also always welcome suggestions as to how to improve our links with parents/carers. This year, we have set up a regular Parents' Forum, which is scheduled on the same date as this year's Governing Body meetings, so that points arising from the Parents' Forum can be raised with governors, where relevant. The first meeting took place in September 2016; please refer to the notes below.
